This is Scotland?

I've often complained on this blog about the awful weather that we continually suffer from in the west of Scotland, so I really ought to balance my moans when we get extraordinary long-term sunshine as we've been experiencing these past few weeks.

It really has been wall to wall blue skies with temperatures averaging 20˚C (that's hot for us!) for more days than I can actually keep count. Needless to say, the streets are filled with people as red as lobsters, and the natives find the balmy warm evenings perfect for some extra criminal activity. For myself, I've been too busy to make full use of the weather for photographic purposes but I'm not moaning about that. I'm thoroughly enjoying the Mediterranean conditions and hope that it lasts through the summer. Or at least, till the end of the week.
