It's typical really. I've been too busy these past few weeks for any outdoor photography, but that's no real loss since the rain has been falling since the schools' all finished. However, this is always a good time of year for those famous west of Scotland sunsets, of which we've been having a few goodies recently.

Why typical? Because one evening, I was working particularly late and when I eventually left the building, I saw a sky so red, so very deep deep red and textured and awesome and amazing and incredible and I knew, I just knew, that this was a sunset that happens only once every few years and by the time I had gotten my car, got home, got my camera and driven to some viewpoint, the sunset would be well and truly gone.

So I just had to view it from a dull street. The above photo is just the usual west of Scotland sunset.

Typical.

There's a moral to this tale.
